Fresh snow Current Conditions Thursday, November 12, 2015
Five of us hiked into Edwards cabin yesterday. we were able to drive to the top parking lot as the gate is still open, and found 3 inches of fresh stuff there. good thing we threw in the shovel and chains although we didn't need them. Snow depth increased as we neared Edwards but peaked out at about 6 inches at the cabin. The log book is still full and needs replacing. There is about 1/2 cord of wood downstairs and a lot of burnable debris. The interior was clean and tidy. We shoveled snow off the cabin steps and outhouse steps. Someone must have gone up to Steele for the day as there were two full packs left behind. Many thanks to those who had time and energy to clear trails this summer. It was much appreciated.

Tetrahedron Conditions as of Nov. 13 Current Conditions Wednesday, November 18, 2015
As per the post on Nov. 12- snow started at the summer lot. However- significant snow was falling on Nov. 13 during the recent storm. Approx 10' the trail near the Edwards hut. When we went up to Steele on Nov. 12 lots of wind drift snow found in the upper regions of the trail.
Snowing heavily all the way down to the summer parking lot where is started to turn to rain.
The road to the summer lot will now be covered with snow and I would expect the gate to be locked soon.
